Rijk Janse is a 24-year-old Dutch goalkeeper for NEC in DED. At 24, he is entering an important stage for a keeper, where training-ground habits begin to translate more consistently into the confidence and authority required in senior matches.

As the last line of defence, Janse’s role is defined by concentration and decision-making. Goalkeepers have to stay alert even during quieter phases of a match, then respond instantly when the game turns. That constant readiness is one of the hardest parts of the position.
